DAMAGE CONTROL

Come along to the Saturday night dance party - free for weekend ticket holders to the SSF - being held at the Midnight Star Social Centre at Homebush. Will feature local underground artists exercising some "Damage Control".

The Midnight Star is about 15 minutes out of the city on train or by car. It is just a couple of minutes walk from Homebush Station.

Turn right at the steps that lead off the platform, exit the station and you should see brown arrows on the ground that lead all the way to the Social Centre.

SYMPOSIUM + TACTICAL MEDIA LAB
An informal lab environment for exchange between media makers, artists and speakers including presentations and workshops. Invited participants include RAC, V.I.S.A.S., No-one is illegal, boat-people.org, Urban Theatre Projects and more, who will briefly present regional political/cultural statements on troubled border issues.

Formal lectures and presentations. Past, present, future: cultural response.

RESOUND

A benefit for refugees, with all proceeds going to the Asylum Seekers Centre - assisting refugees with food, health-care, accommodation and english tuition, and services refused by the Liberal government.

Featuring: Tracky Dax, Kuya, Sub Bass Snarl, Simon Caldwell, Nick Toth, Ajax and more.
